Capt
Craddock is the Commanding Officer of 2137 RCACC. The CO is responsible for all
cadet matters pertaining to the corps and for the training and the
administration of the officers of the corps, civilian instructors, and the
cadets serving in the corps. The CO is responsible to the Commanding Officer
Regional Cadet Support Unit (Prairie). Capt Craddock joins us from 1292 Lord
Strathcona’s Horse (Royal Canadians) Army Cadet Corps. |

Capt Sun
is 2 Platoon Commander, Band Officer and Silver Star Level Officer. As a
jack-of-all-trades, she keeps extremely busy with personally knowing all the
cadets in her Platoon - understanding their goals, how well they're doing in
mandatory training, and essentially being the SPOC for all the cadets in 2
Platoon. She is also the Band Officer and has been with the unit for 9 years and currently works as a Systems Consultant. |

Lt
Morris is the Training Officer and is responsible for the training,
leadership, discipline, efficiency, and administration of the training
department. He develops and implements the yearly training plan. Lt Morris
has been with the unit for 7 years. |

2Lt Andrews join us from 1292 Lord
Strathcona’s Horse (Royal Canadians) Army Cadet Corps. 2Lt Andrews has served with the Calgary Highlanders before
making his move into the CIC. He is currently the Red Star Level Officer and the Assistant Band Officer. |

As the Supply
Officer, 2Lt Peterson is responsible for ensuring all cadet clothing
documents are up-to-date, ordering new uniforms, issuing uniforms, and the
organization of clothing stores. 2Lt Peterson has been with our unit for 4
years. Previous to his tenure here, he was formerly with 604 RCACS. |

OCdt
Ortt was a former cadet with 1292 Lord Strathcona’s Horse (Royal Canadians)
Army Cadet Corps and is currently the Gold Star/NSCE Level Officer and 1
Platoon Commander. As a cadet, he has gone through his fair share of summer
camps including the Canadian Forces Basic Parachutist Course in 2004. In
2005, OCdt Ortt joined the Kings Own Calgary Regiment as an Armoured
Reconnaissance Non-Commissioned Member (NCM). He was subsequently approved
for a Component Transfer to the Regular force as an Infantry Officer under
the Regular Officer Training Program in 2006. He is now posted in Calgary and
studying Sociology at the U of C. Upon completion, he hopes to be transferred
to 3rd Battalion PPCLI in Edmonton to be an Infantry platoon commander. |

WO
Downey is our Cadet Liaison Officer and represents our affiliated unit, the
Calgary Highlanders. He is a great resource for teaching and helping our
cadets, in particular the senior cadets, carry out their duties. |
|

CI
Landree has been with our unit for 5 years and has been helping out as the Administration
and Finance Officer. As the Finance Officer, CI Landree is responsible for
maintaining the corps budget and bank account. As the Administration Officer,
she ensures that all unit pay, paperwork and orders are distributed and/or
published in accordance with the direction of the Commanding Officer. In
addition to her corps duties, she also assists with Biathlon training. |

CV
Pellerin joined our unit in October 2006. She is the Green Star Level Officer. CV Pellerin comes to us with a wealth of experience
and knowledge. She is a former cadet of the 12RBC (The Three Rivers
Regiment) in Louiseville, Québec. |

Makinson was a former RSM of 1292 Lord Strathcona’s Horse (Royal Canadians)
Army Cadet Corps and is currently an instructor with our unit. CV Makinson joined us in September of 2007. |

Mr. Langford was born in Hamilton Ontario and as a child participated in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. He was in the Royal Hamilton Light infantry Cadets for a short time before joining the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry militia unit (reserves). After a few exercises and training serials he decided to join the regular force and served twenty-two years with the Third Battalion of the Princes Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry out of Work Point Barracks in Esquimalt BC. One of the many postings Mr. Langford had was with the Army Cadet system as an Area Cadet Instructor. His job was to standardize training and administrative procedures with all the Army Cadet Units in British Columbia. Mr. Langford retired from the service in 1995 and is currently working as a Commissionaire at Mewata Armouries. |
