Summer Training Centres

Every summer, cadets have the opportunity to attend summer courses to enhance the training they receive at their home corps.  During the camps, cadets are paid a training bonus of $60 per week.  Courses last between 2 to 7 weeks in length.  Most Army Cadets will attend camp at Vernon Army Cadet Summer Training Centre (VACSTC).   After completing NSCE, a cadet may be given the opportunity to go on an exchange.  These exchanges are 4-6 weeks in length.  All expenses are paid for and participating cadets will still receive their training bonuses.  For more information about summer camp, please check the Training menu under Resources.
